About The Director
Sherry Benson is the current director of the Mrs. Maryland and Miss Teen International Pageants. She is the former Mrs. Maryland International 1996 and has been directing since 1998 and won director of the year in 2004.
She has judged several pageants including Miss and Miss Teen Connecticut USA, Mrs., Miss and Teen Pennsylvania International, Mrs. South Carolina International, Mrs. North Carolina International. A preliminary to Miss Kentucky America in Louisville Kentucky, Miss Tidewater which is also a preliminary to Miss Maryland America and the state competition for Pennsylvania Little Miss Hawaiian Tropics.
Sherry resides on the Eastern Shore of Maryland with her husband Skip of 25 years and her two boys Heath 22 and Van 19. Sherry works full time as an Interior Designer. She enjoys anything to do with pageants, shopping, the beach, entertaining and bike riding.
